QPR looking at young Tottenham defender ahead of possible move

Jonathan Dinzeyi could become the latest Tottenham youngster to join QPR.

West London Sport reports that centre-back Dinzeyi, 20, has joined the R’s on trial.

The England Under-18 international has yet to make a senior appearance for Spurs but has featured for their development side.

QPR have signed several youngsters released by Tottenham over the past few years, including Grant Hall, Charlie Owens and Aramide Oteh, as well as more recent signings such as Dylan Duncan, while numerous others have had trials with the club.

Technical director Chris Ramsey was previously at Spurs and oversees Rangers’ recruitment of young players.

Rangers have been eager to pick up youngsters who have been released by Premier League sides and several possible signings are on the radar ahead of the summer.

QPR manager Mark Warburton also has a good relationship with Spurs and recently signed Jack Clarke on loan from the north London club.
