QPR are looking at youngsters Wesley McDonald and Rui Da Costa ahead of possible moves.
West London Sport reports that Norwich City youngster Da Costa, 19, has been given a trial at Rangers, joining that Birmingham City forward McDonald, who was already on trial at the club.
Both featured for QPR’s Under-23 side in a 3-1 defeat at Burnley on Monday, with McDonald having also played in a match against Sheffield United last week.
McDonald, 20, was on Fulham’s books before signing for Birmingham in December 2013.
He was given a new one-year contract at St Andrews last summer but is coming towards the end of that deal and looks set to move on.
McDonald scored 10 goals for Birmingham’s development side last season but has not made a senior appearance for the club.
He had first-team experience during a spell on loan at non-League Solihull Moors earlier this season. He was previously on loan at Nuneaton Borough.
Da Costa was signed as a scholar by Norwich in 2015. He returned to action last year after 14 months out with a knee injury.
He had a trial with Chelsea before joining Norwich’s academy but looks set to leave Carrow Road this summer.
