QPR are hoping Sebastian Polter is able to play against Rotherham on Saturday.
The German striker has been struggling with a thigh injury and is a doubt for the trip to face the Millers.
Rangers are without the suspended James Perch, who was sent off against Wolves last time out, and have a number of injury concerns besides Polter.
Ariel Borysiuk has a hamstring problem and could miss out, as could his fellow Pole Pawel Wszolek, who has a knee injury.
Meanwhile, Steven Caulker remains sidelined with a hip injury and Jack Robinson and Jamie Mackie will also be left out of the squad.
Rangers are taking no chances with Robinson, who aggravated a hamstring problem during their recent defeat against Wolves.
And Mackie, back in training after an ankle injury, has been told he needs to prove his fitness before being considered for a first-team recall.
Boss Ian Holloway told the club website: “I have told him that people that are out that long normally need to play parts of three games to get considered for the first team. We’ll see how he does.
“When you have been out for that period of time, we need to know, and the player needs to know himself, that he is fit and ready.”
