QPR have completed the signing of youngster Sean Adarkwa following his release by West Ham.
The powerful forward, 20, joined the Hammers at the age of 11 and has moved on at the end of his contract with the east London club.
He did not make a senior appearance but was a regular for West Ham’s Under-23 side in recent seasons.
He has signed a one-year deal at Rangers, who have shown a willingness to pick up young players released by other clubs.
They include defender Ben Wells, who was also at West Ham. He joined QPR in 2018 and has been given a new six-month deal.
But manager Mark Warburton looks like he might miss out on one of his key targets this summer.
Warburton is keen to sign a left-back and has been hoping to capture former Brighton man George Cox from Dutch club Fortuna Sittard.
But journalist David McIntyre, who originally broke the news of QPR’s interest in Cox, has told fans on Twitter that the deal is “not progressing at the moment”.
Waiting on Fulham for Johansen. Would be surprised if it doesn’t happen but was always going to take a while. Cox not progressing at the moment.

That will come as a disappointment to Rangers, who are also hoping to sign Stefan Johansen on a permanent basis after he impressed while on loan from Fulham during the second half of last season.
Fulham are yet to make a final decision on the future of the Norwegian midfielder, who has a year remaining on his contract at Craven Cottage.
