QPR could be without both Josh Scowen and Joel Lynch for today’s game against Championship leaders Cardiff City.
Midfielder Scowen, who has impressed since his summer move from Barnsley, is nursing an ankle knock and will be assessed ahead of the match against the Bluebirds.
And defender Lynch looks likely to miss out again with a hamstring injury he suffered during the recent defeat at Norwich.
Rangers are already without defender Grant Hall and midfielder Jordan Cousins, who are sidelined with tendonitis and a hamstring injury respectively.
The visitors will face a tough task against in-form Cardiff, who have made an excellent start to the season under former R’s boss Neil Warnock.
Current manager Ian Holloway told the club’s website: “Neil has got Cardiff going and it’s going to be a totally different type of game to our previous league games.
“They put you under massive pressure and almost play a 2-4-4 formation with the new strikeforce he has put together there.
“We’ll have to go there and compete with what they are going to do.
“We know what they are going to do, but stopping it and being able to do what you want to do is the challenge for us – and it’s a great challenge.”
