Four more players are set to leave QPR as part of boss Ian Holloway’s January clearout, according to reports in the local media.
The club have recently parted company with Steven Caulker, sold Yeni Ngbakoto, loaned Sean Goss to Glasgow Rangers and released youngsters Reece Grego-Cox and Michael Petrasso.
And West London Sport say Rangers are also planning to release three more youngsters: Axel Prohouly, Dan Darbyshire and Danny Rowe.
French forward Prohouly was signed in 2015 after being released by Monaco, while Rowe was picked up last year after leaving Leicester City and Darbyshire is a QPR youth product.
Meanwhile, Get West London believe summer signing David Wheeler could be on the way out of Loftus Road already.
Get West London’s QPR expert Phil Spencer wrote: “Despite a couple of promising performances, the right-midfielder has played just nine minutes since the start of December, and with no news of an injury, it appears that he simply hasn’t done enough to feature.
“Wheeler is 26 years old so is arguably in his prime, meaning that if he isn’t featuring regularly for the first team, his future will likely be away from the club.
“Whether Holloway will look to offload him in January remains to be seen, but it certainly isn’t a move that’s worked out.”
