QPR will again be without Jack Robinson and Steven Caulker for Thursday’s home match against Wolves, but Massimo Luongo has been passed fit to return.
Luongo, who has been in fine form for Rangers this season, missed Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Ipswich because of illness.
The Australian midfielder has since been able to return to training and has been given the all-clear to rejoin Ian Holloway’s squad.
“Massimo Luongo is definitely fit,” manager Holloway confirmed at a press conference on Thursday.
“He had a really bad sickness bug. That was on Friday. He’s back now – he trained yesterday and looked fresh and looked good.”
Robinson also missed the Ipswich game, having picked up a hamstring injury during the 2-1 victory against Norwich the previous weekend.
The problem does not appear to be serious and he should soon be back in action.
Caulker, meanwhile, has yet to feature for Rangers since Holloway’s return to Loftus Road for a second spell as boss.
The central defender has a hip injury but it is hoped he will return to training next week.
“He (Caulker) is not ready yet. He’s improving and could possibly be training next week, but hips can be a little bit awkward,” said Holloway.
