Jack Robinson has been ruled out of QPR’s trip to face bottom side Bolton but Jordan Cousins is back in the squad following a hamstring injury.
Robinson missed last weekend’s 1-1 draw at Sunderland with a hand injury and has not travelled to the north west.
The news is a blow for Rangers as the former Liverpool man has been in excellent form this season.
They are able to welcome back Cousins, who has not made a first-team appearance this term.
After an injury-plagued first season in west London following his move from Charlton, Cousins suffered another hamstring injury during pre-season.
He recently returned to action for the Under-23s and has now been given the green light to return to the first-team squad.
However, Grant Hall has suffered a setback after also recently returning to action for the Under-23s.
Defender Hall has been struggling with an ongoing knee problem and suffered an adverse reaction following a recent game against Charlton’s second string.
On a brighter note for Rangers, West London Sport report that James Perch could return to training the week after next.
Perch suffered a dislocated kneecap in August and was expected to be out until well into the new year.
Captain Nedum Onuoha is expected to return in December from his hamstring injury.
