Joel Lynch looks set to miss QPR’s game against Hull City and Pawel Wszolek faces a late fitness test.

Defender Lynch suffered a hamstring injury during the midweek defeat against Norwich at Carrow Road, where Wszolek picked up a back injury.

Wszolek was replaced by loan signing Kazenga LuaLua, who prefers to play on the left but could be deployed on the right if the Pole is not fit enough to face Hull at Loftus Road.

Boss Ian Holloway told the club’s website: “We need to make sure that players can come in and fit into the new system, seamlessly.

“Obviously Kazenga LuaLua is a different type of player to Pawel, but he is an attacking option for us.

“He is more comfortable on the left but we will need him to learn to play down the right side as well because he is going to want to get into the new team wherever he can, wherever he is needed.”

Rangers could again be without Idrissa Sylla and Yeni Ngbakoto.

Striker Sylla took a blow to the head during the recent EFL Cup game against Northampton and French winger Ngbakoto has been nursing an ankle problem.

Jordan Cousins remains sidelined with a hamstring injury and Grant Hall has tendonitis.
