Stefan Johansen has declared that his time at QPR has been “brilliant” following the end of his loan spell.
The Norwegian’s comments will raise hopes among Rangers fans that he could end up staying at Loftus Road.
His future is uncertain as he has a year remaining on his contract at Fulham, whose relegation from the Premier League was confirmed on Monday night.
But Johansen has made it clear he loved his stint in W12, where he played a major role in Rangers’ excellent results during the second half of the season.
“It’s been brilliant, from day one I have felt so welcome,” he told the QPR website.
“Over the last few months, we have improved as a team, as players and as individuals.”
Regarding his future, the midfielder added: “Obviously I don’t know the situation with me yet, that’s something to be decided but it’s always good to have a positive end to the season which you can bring into the next one, so we will see.
“Personally, I don’t know what’s going to happen, I have one more year on my contract at Fulham, but without doubt I can say how much I have enjoyed my time here.”
