Man City man set for London move with two clubs keen

Manchester City youngster Matt Smith is set for another loan move – this time to west London.

QPR look set to snap up the 19-year-old midfielder, who spent last season on loan at Dutch club FC Twente.

West London Sport reports that Rangers have agreed in principle a loan deal for the Wales international.

Charlton have also been keen on Smith but he looks set for a season at Loftus Road.

Meanwhile, Tottenham youngster Luke Amos is also set to complete a loan move to QPR.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino rates the 22-year-old midfielder highly and he made his first-team debut as a substitute at Newcastle last August.

However, Amos suffered cruciate damage in an Under-23 game weeks later and missed the rest of the season.

He is now set to join the former Tottenham contingent at QPR, where ex-Spurs men Les Ferdinand and Chris Ramsey are the director of football and technical director respectively.

Since the duo arrived at Loftus Road they have snapped up a number of players who have been let go by Spurs, such as Massimo Luongo, Grant Hall, Charlie Owens and Aramide Oteh.

QPR last week signed Dylan Duncan, who was also recently released by Tottenham, and now Amos is heading to west London.

Amos has had first-team experience on loan at Southend and Stevenage and will be looking to relaunch his career after his long spell out.
