Jack Robinson says QPR are determined to add to Sunderland’s problems at home.

Rangers travel to the Stadium of Light this weekend to face a Black Cats team that has yet to win in the Championship on home soil since being relegated from the top flight last season.

Defender Robinson told QPR’s website: “They’ve made an indifferent start to the season, but I’m sure they’ll be looking to climb the table over the coming weeks.

“It’ll be a tough game on Saturday. But we believe we can go up there and get a result.

“Sunderland’s supporters will expect a home win, but we want to create problems for them and get a positive result.

“We need to take our chances when they come our way and also keep them out at the other end, because we’ve conceded a few sloppy goals this season.”

Robinson, who has been beset by injuries since moving to west London from Liverpool in 2014, has been a revelation for the R’s in recent weeks.

He was made available for a loan move during the summer but Rangers being without a number of sidelined defenders handed a chance to establish himself.

“The injuries started to pile up and I was training well, so I got my chance,” he explained.
