Ian Holloway is in confident mood ahead of QPR’s game against promotion challengers Leeds United.

Struggling QPR have lost four of their last five Championship matches, whereas Leeds are very much in the race for the play-offs.

But Rangers manager Holloway told the club’s website: “Leeds are a good team but I think we can win the game – so bring it on.

“Wherever Leeds are in the table at the moment is irrelevant. It’s about us putting our game on them and getting the points.”

Rangers captain Nedum Onuoha is set to return to action after nearly three months on the sidelines.

Onuoha’s recovery from a hamstring injury is a timely boost for Holloway, who is currently without a number of defenders.

Alex Baptiste is suspended after being sent off against Preston last weekend, while James Perch, Grant Hall, Steven Caulker and James Perch are all unavailable.

“Having the likes of Nedum back will be a big boost,” Holloway said.

“He played in a training game at Harlington in midweek and all looked good.

“Importantly in the Championship you need to look around the dressing room and see some experience, so the likes of Nedum coming back will certainly help.”
