Some Arsenal fans on Twitter have identified their preferred replacement for Arsene Wenger – Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe.
The Cherries led 3-0 against the Gunners with 20 minutes to play but ended up throwing it away as Olivier Giroud scored an injury-time equaliser.
But while some joked that Bournemouth’s choke had made Howe the perfect Arsenal boss, others were serious about the 39-year-old taking over from Wenger.
3 nil down after 58 mins at Bournemouth, can’t celebrate a point I’m afraid. Bournemouth deserved the win, would take Howe for Wenger!

When wenger does finally go, surely Howe has to have a shot at the job. Young, English and doing a cracking job at Bournemouth

I really like Eddie Howe as a manager. I’d like him to replace Wenger when he reitires.

Please Arsenal board it’s time for Wenger to move upstairs. Go out and get Eddie Howe, he’s a perfect fit for us #ARSBOU

However, others were not so entranced by the idea of Howe – who has only managed at Bournemouth and Burnley – taking over Arsenal’s star-studded dressing room.
Yes, Wenger needs to go. No, Eddie Howe shouldn’t replace him.

After tonight you just know Eddie Howe isn’t the man for us. More like a Wenger-esque. From 3-0 to 3-3

Eddie Howe just a poor man’s Wenger…do not want.
