Tottenham’s development side looked impressive as they beat Manchester United 3-0 at Stevenage on Friday evening.

All the goals came in the first half, with Marcus Edwards (pictured) opening the scoring with a fine strike before Japhet Tanganga doubled the lead and Joe Pritchard got the third.

United’s side included Luke Shaw and James Wilson.

Meanwhile, Arsenal’s Under-23s lost 2-1 at home to Liverpool despite Reiss Nelson putting them ahead.

And, also in Premier League 2, Eden Hazard played 75 minutes for Chelsea’s development side in the latest stage of his comeback from an ankle injury.

It was Hazard’s second outing since having surgery – he also featured a recent behind-closed-doors friendly against QPR’s youth side.

The young Blues were beaten 3-0 by reigning champions Everton at Aldershot, where boss Antonio Conte watched Hazard in action.
