Slaven Bilic remains on thin ice at West Ham, the Daily Mirror say.

There has been speculation over Bilic’s future at the London Stadium for some time and he was reportedly given the recent games against Tottenham and Crystal Palace to save his job.

The Mirror say the Hammers board are dismayed by the way Bilic’s side threw away a two-goal lead against Palace.

Meanwhile, The Independent reports that Crystal Palace would be due in the region of £2m if Sam Allardyce takes over at Everton.

A clause in Allardyce’s severance agreement when he left Palace in May apparently means the Eagles would be entitled to a payment were he to take a manager’s job elsewhere.

The Times say Chelsea are ready to offer Cesc Fabregas a new contract amid renewed interest from Manchester United in the midfielder.

Fabregas, who has 18 months remaining on his current deal, reportedly wants to sign for an additional two years.

The Times also reports that Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham is ready to commit his international future to England rather than Nigeria.

The Daily Mail say Chelsea are inviting potential backers to Stamford Bridge to discuss major sponsorship deals.

And Rome police are on “red alert” ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League match against Roma amid fears of violence, The Sun claim.
