It was an extremely disappointing night for Tottenham, whose chances of qualifying for the knockout stage of the Champions League took a blow when they were beaten 1-0 by Bayer Leverkusen at Wembley.
And many Tottenham fans on Twitter have been hugely critical of Moussa Sissoko, who has failed to impress since his big-money move from Newcastle and produced a woeful performance against the German side.
Some fans also suggested Sissoko’s display underlined why head of recruitment Paul Mitchell is leaving the club.
