Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana continues to be linked with a summer move to Chelsea – and it’s easy to see why the Blues want him.
The below video released by Ajax shows why the Cameroon international has established himself as one of the best keepers currently playing in Europe.
Onana is among several keepers to have been linked with Chelsea amid speculation over the future of Kepa Arrizabalaga.
And Onana would be a worthy replacement for the Spaniard if he can replicate the kind of form he has shown for Ajax.
Kepa has been unconvincing since his big-money move to Stamford Bridge and Valencia are reportedly interested in signing him on a two-year loan.
He was dropped by Frank Lampard earlier in the season and the Blues boss has been tipped to bring in a new keeper.
Meanwhile, Lampard could also be set to add a midfielder to his squad in Manchester United youngster Andre Gomes.
The Independent reports that Gomes is set to leave United after turning down a contract offer and that Chelsea are keen to snap him up.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that he believes the player will leave.
“I’ve got no news, nothing,” Solskjaer said at a news conference on Monday.
“I’ve not heard from them last night or this morning, it seems like they haven’t managed to agree. The answer is probably short and ‘yes [he’s leaving]’, then.”
