Paper round-up: Tottenham reportedly chasing Man Utd and Liverpool target

Tottenham have joined Liverpool and Manchester United in a race to sign Gedson Fernandes, the Sunday Mirror say.

Liverpool and United have been linked with the Portugal midfielder, who has impressed for Benfica this season.

The Sunday Mirror say he is rated at £35m and that Spurs are considering a move for him.

The newspaper reports that representatives of Fernandes were in England last week to meet with potential suitors and that Tottenham are interested.

It comes amid reports that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has told manager Mauricio Pochettino he will have money to spend this summer.

Meanwhile, the Daily Star Sunday say Spurs could target Everton left-back Lucas Digne in an exchange deal involving Danny Rose.

The story also claims Rose could be a target for Chelsea and Manchester United.

Arsenal are moving to secure the futures of strikers Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the Mail on Sunday.

The Gunners are said to be keen to avoid another case of a star player running down his contract and then leaving.

The club are therefore said to be planning talks with both players with a view to giving them new deals.

And The Sun on Sunday reports that Arsenal will not be able to screen the Europa League final at the Emirates Stadium because of work being done to improve executive seating.
