Arsenal and Tottenham are among clubs being linked with Brighton defender Ben White.
The centre-back recently made his England debut and has subsequently been called into their squad for the Euros.
He has previously been linked with a number of clubs, including Tottenham, and there is again speculation that he could move this summer.
And the Daily Mirror say Arsenal have joined Spurs, Liverpool and Manchester United in a race to sign White.
Both north London clubs have been tipped to bolster their squad ahead of next season.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is keen to make new signings after a disappointing campaign, while incoming director of football Fabio Paratici will have a major job on his hands at Spurs.
Tottenham’s immediate concern is the appointment of a new manager, with Paulo Fonseca reportedly on the verge of taking over.
Fonseca was replaced at Roma by Jose Mourinho, who was sacked as Spurs manager two months ago.
Spurs have turned to him after other attempts to install a successor to Mourinho came to nothing.
Talks with Antonio Conte broke down, while hopes of a return for Mauricio Pochettino from Paris St-Germain were crushed.
Fonseca is not the man many Spurs fans will have been thinking of as the ideal new manager – and that has been reflected in a generally unhappy reaction on social media.
Paulo Fonseca…he’s not a big name…he seems exactly the yes man ENIC want…he will be happy to manage without funds…can’t see Kane being inspired to stay
…not the appointment we were hoping for but let’s see what happens…#COYS #THFC #Spurs #Fonseca

Levy will get lynched if he hires Fonseca as Spurs manager.

If the Paulo Fonseca rumours are true I can honestly say it would be it would be the most underwhelming and strangest appointment since Christian gross

I’m making it clear right now…. I will NOT support or give any chances at all to paulo fonseca…..this is a bad move on his account and most definitely #THFC account. #THFC #COYS #Enicout #levyout

With the club needing to inspire us and the players, this is a very poor appointment (if it happens). Fonseca track record is mediocre at best, has the feeling he will struggle and the be sacked in short order and we will have wasted another season. #COYS

Fonseca????
What is the point.
Can fans leave Spurs in August too along with Harry?Supporting this team under the current custodians is…. pointless.#coys#THFC@LastWordOnSpurs

Is there any one out there that has anything positive to say about the potential Fonseca appointment? Anyone? #THFC #COYS

At a time when the club needs a MASSIVE lift, we sink to a new low. Fonseca, really? Is that the best we can do? @SpursOfficial good luck spinning this one #COYS
