Antonio Conte is reportedly looking to take Chelsea duo N’Golo Kante and Emerson Palmieri to Inter Milan as well as Manchester United defender Chris Smalling.
Former Blues boss Conte has long been linked with a move for left-back Emerson, who played under him at Stamford Bridge and has been widely tipped to return to Italy this summer.
Emerson is behind Marcos Alonso in the pecking order – and Alonso himself could be shipped out as both options at left-back have failed to impress.
The likes of Ben Chilwell have been linked with Chelsea and it certainly seems as though Emerson’s days at the club are numbered.
And Kante continues to be linked with clubs, having previously been touted for possible moves to the likes of Real Madrid, Juventus and Paris St-Germain.
The French midfielder endured an injury-plagued season but boss Frank Lampard has insisted that Kante remains a key player and that he wants him to stay.
Nevertheless, The Sun have picked up on reports in Italy that Conte is looking to snap up the Chelsea pair along with centre-back Smalling.
It comes after Italian publication Gazetta reported that Conte is an admirer of south Londoner Smalling, who was on loan at Roma last season.
