Juventus now reportedly lead the race to sign Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.
The German’s contract at Stamford Bridge expires this summer and he was tipped to move on even before the uncertainty over Chelsea’s future which means they cannot currently offer new deals to their players.
Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are also reported to be keen on Rudiger but The Sun say he is now edging towards a move to Turin.
Chelsea have been left facing the prospect of losing three of their key defenders – Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta at the end of the season.
The contracts of Christensen and captain Azpilicueta also end this year and several clubs are known to be keen on them.
Denmark international Christensen has been tipped to join Barcelona, who have also been strongly linked with Azpilicueta.
There does, however, appear to be a decent chance that Azpilicueta will end up staying at the Bridge given that a clause in his contract enables Chelsea to extend the deal by another year, as has Azpilicueta.
