Rudiger reportedly agrees to join Juventus

Antonio Rudiger is said to have agreed a move to Juventus.

Antonio Rudiger is said to have agreed a move to Juventus.

Rudiger’s Chelsea contract expires at the end of the season and he was being tipped to leave Stamford Bridge this summer even before the current uncertainty over the club’s future.

Chelsea are now unable to offer new deals to players, increasing speculation that the likes of Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta will leave.

Reports have previously claimed that Rudiger was likely to join Bayern Munich and then that he had agreed a move to Real Madrid.

Now Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport has claimed that Rudiger prefers a move to Juve over those clubs and has agreed a move to Turin.

It is claimed that Rudiger will sign a four-year contract and earn around £5.4m per season.

The contracts of Christensen and Azpilicueta are also coming to an end and they too have been tipped to leave.

Christensen is reportedly in line for a move to Barcelona, who have also been linked with Azpilicueta.

There is, however, believed to be a clause in Azpilicueta’s contract which enables Chelsea to extend it by a year, meaning the Spanish defender could yet stay at the Bridge for at least another season.
