Shaun Hutchinson returned to action with a 45-minute cameo as Millwall Under-23s beat Leeds 2-0 on Monday.
The former Fulham defender was playing in his first match since sustaining a leg injury in the Lions’ defeat by Peterborough in August.
He started the game and came off at the end of a goalless first half.
Alfie Pavey headed wide early on, while Jamie Philpot saw his effort saved by Leeds keeper Will Huffer.
The same two players were involved in Millwall’s opener, five minutes after the break, when Pavey squared the ball for Philpot to net from close range.
Ten minutes before the end, Samuel Amissah wasted Leeds’ best chance by blazing over the bar, and it proved costly as Pavey nodded in from Eze Ebuzoeme’s delivery.
