Fulham have joined Crystal Palace and others in a race to sign Bertrand Traore from Lyon.
West London Sport reports that Fulham are interested in the former Chelsea forward, who was sold to Lyon for £8.8m in 2017
He has two years left on his contract at the French side and has attracted interest from a host of Premier League clubs, including Newcastle, Leicester and Everton.
Fulham have already bolstered their midfield in preparation for their return to the Premier League with two signings from Southampton.
Mario Lemina arrived at Craven Cottage on a season-long loan, and Harrison Reed signed permanently for £8m after impressing on loan last season.
That is expected to lead to the departures of Stefan Johansen and Kevin McDonald, whose first-team prospects look slim following the new signings.
Boss Scott Parker is also keen to boost his attacking options and Traore appears to be on his radar ahead of the new season.
Traore made 10 Premier League appearances for Chelsea, after joining in the 2013/14 season, and found the net twice for the Blues.
Lyon bought the Burkina Faso international in the summer of 2017 after he had impressed during loan spells at Vitesse Arnhem and Ajax.
