Fulham boss Marco Silva has insisted that Aleksandar Mitrovic does not deserve a long ban for his outburst during the FA Cup defeat at Manchester United.
The FA have indicated that Mitrovic faces a lengthy suspension after shoving referee Chris Kavanagh after a penalty was awarded against the Whites.
Mitrovic was shown the red card after protesting after Kavanagh awarded United a penalty for a handball by Willian.
“I didn’t see in a so, so bad way,” said Silva. “He pushed the referee and Mitro should control his emotions. I saw the image and I will speak with him.
“But I hope the people who are going to decide do so with fairness that the moment deserves.”
