Crystal Palace are reportedly set to table a bid for Chelsea youngster Conor Gallagher.
Palace sporting director Dougie Freedman has long been an admirer of Gallagher, who spent last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion.
The Eagles were interested in signing him prior to Gallagher moving to the West Midlands, where he impressed despite Albion being relegated from the Premier League.
And The Sun reports that Palace are ready to offer £15m in an attempt to take the 21-year-old midfielder to Selhurst Park this summer.
But the newspaper also adds that Gallagher is keen to stay at Chelsea and establish himself as a first-team player there.
There were recently reports that Blues boss Thomas Tuchel wants to take a look at Gallagher during pre-season with a view to giving him a chance in the Chelsea side.
The youngster has certainly done well during his time out on loan, proving he can play in the top flight last season, having previously caught the eye in the Championship during his loan spells at Charlton Athletic and Swansea City.
However, establishing himself at Chelsea would be a tough task for Gallagher given the wealth of options Tuchel currently has at his disposal.
