Crystal Palace are among clubs interested in signing Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster on loan, according to The Sun.
Swansea and Bristol City are also said to be keen on the 19-year-old along with clubs in Germany.
The Sun say Palace believe he can compete with Jordan Ayew, Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham and would be interested if Liverpool are willing to loan Brewster out for the second half of the season.
It means a potential return to the capital for Brewster, who was born in East London and was on Chelsea’s books before being snapped up by Liverpool.
Brewster, an England Under-21 international, left Chelsea at 15 and joined Liverpool, where he signed a professional contract in June of last year.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports that Palace have opened talks with manager Roy Hodgson over a new contract.
It means the former England boss could stay in charge at Selhurst Park past his 73rd birthday.
Hodgson’s current Palace contract is due to expire at the end of this season and he has no plans to retire.
His team are currently sixth in the Premier League table and came back from two goals down to draw with Arsenal last week.
