Crystal Palace have again been linked with Queens Park Rangers star Ebere Eze.
The young forward has impressed at Loftus Road since being picked up by Rangers in 2016 after being released by Millwall.
That decision by Millwall has looked strange in light of his performances for the R’s, who have been enjoying a decent season under manager Steve McClaren.
Eze has been linked with Palace for some time and it was reported this week that Eagles boss Roy Hodgson was lining him up as a possible signing after a deal to take Dominic Solanke on loan fell through.
Football.London have suggested that Palace are interested in a deal to sign Eze and that it could involve loaning him back to QPR.
However, West London Sport, which last season first reported Palace’s interest in the player, say the club are continuing to monitor him but have no intention of signing Eze during this month’s transfer window.
Sky Sports have since also suggested that Palace are keeping tabs on Eze but, contrary to reports, are not lining up a move to sign him.
So it appears Eze will be staying at Rangers, where he signed a three-year contract last summer.
