Bayer Leverkusen star Leon Bailey has suggested there is “concrete” interest in him from Chelsea and Liverpool.
Chelsea have long been linked with the 20-year-old winger, who has been tipped to move to the Premier League.
Liverpool have also been linked with Bailey this summer – and the player believes both English clubs want him.
He told German magazine Kicker: “There’s concrete interest. What I can say is that my full focus is on developing myself as a young player, and that’s what I’ll focus on. If a club wants me, my management and Bayer 04 will take care of it.”
Bailey has been touted as a possible replacement for Willian or Eden Hazard at Chelsea.
But while there is uncertainty of Hazard’s future, Willian has publicly declared his commitment to the club.
“I’m a Chelsea player,” Willian told ESPN Brasil.
“I always made it clear that what I wanted was to stay in the club.
“The only club I knew that really made an official offer for me was Barcelona.
“But I have my head here and I intend to continue in the club unless the club wants to sell me. But my head is here in the club.”
