Watford v Chelsea: Blues defender struggling, Hornets boss faces key decision

Alvaro Morata should be fit for Chelsea’s Premier League trip to Watford on Boxing Day, but Andreas Christensen is still struggling with a hamstring injury.

Striker Morata has been struggling with a knee problem, but is back in full training and Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is hopeful he will be ready to take on the Hornets.

Provisional squad: Kepa, Caballero, Rudiger, Alonso, Fabregas, Jorginho, Kante, Barkley, Hazard, Pedro, Loftus-Cheek, Kovacic, Giroud, Zappacosta, Willian, Cahill, Christensen, Azpilicueta, Morata, Luiz, Emerson Palmieri, Ampadu, Hudson-Odoi.

Watford will have an unchanged squad.

Will Hughes (hip), Andre Gray (leg), Sebastian Prodl (knee) and Adalberto Penaranda (foot) remain sidelined for the Hornets.
