Aston Villa have confirmed the signing of John Terry.
The 36-year-old, who has left Chelsea after 22 years at Stamford Bridge, has signed a one-year contract with the Championship club.
He said: “I am delighted to join Aston Villa. I can’t wait to get started now and look to help the squad achieve something special this season.”
Former England captain Terry, who won 78 caps, played 717 games for Chelsea and won his fifth Premier League title in May.
