Report: Chelsea could sell Ziyech or Pulisic

Chelsea could sell either Hakim Ziyech or Christian Pulisic this summer, according to the Daily Star.

Both players have endured frustrating spells in recent months, largely because of injury problems.

Ziyech has struggled for fitness, while Pulisic has not started a league game since Thomas Tuchel took over as Blues boss.

And the Daily Star claim recent comments by Tuchel suggest either Ziyech or Pulisic could move elsewhere at the end of the season.

Tuchel made his comments at his post-match press conference after Monday’s 2-0 win at home to Newcastle.

Pulisic was an unused substitute and Tuchel explained that was partly because one of his three changes was forced by a first-half injury to Tammy Abraham, who limped off and was replaced by Olivier Giroud.

Tuchel said: “Christian was a very tight decision – if he starts for us after the cup game or if he comes from the bench.

“We decided for another 11 to start and unfortunately we only have three changes, which makes it very, very difficult to give time to the players to have an impact in big tactical changes.

“Christian absolutely deserves to start. He deserves to come in. But I have only three guys that I can use.

“I hope he keeps on going. And I am absolutely sure he will have an important impact for us in the future.”
