West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini has refused to be drawn on reports linking the club with Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Samir Nasri.
It follows reports that the Hammers want to take Loftus-Cheek on loan from Chelsea, where the England midfielder has been struggling to establish himself as a first-team regular.
Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is said to have blocked the potential move, with Loftus-Cheek having featured in recent Chelsea games.
West Have have also been linked with former Arsenal star Nasri, who is looking for a club having served an 18-month ban.
Nasri, who played under Pellegrini at Manchester City, was suspended from the game after contravening doping laws for receiving an intravenous drip in 2016.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of the game against Huddersfield Town, Pellegrini gave nothing away when asked about the two players.
“The only thing I can tell you is that we have been linked with 14 or 15 players that are coming to this club in the last month,” he said.
“We are thinking about Huddersfield. We have time until the window, but we will see the recovery of some players and then decide after that which is the best player we can bring here.”
