Michael Beale has hinted that he may look to take players from Chelsea and Liverpool to QPR.
Beale coached at both Premier League clubs prior to being Steven Gerrard’s assistant at Aston Villa.
He has been tipped to sign Villa youngsters on loan this season following his recent appointment as head coach at Loftus Road.
However, when asked about that at a press conference, Beale responded: “Aston Villa do have some very talented young players. So do the other clubs that I’ve worked with.”
Striker Cameron Archer is among the Villa players to have been linked with a move to west London, with Gerrard expected to look favourably on the idea of his best youngsters continuing to work with Beale.
But Beale insisted: “I’m not guaranteed any favours from anyone.”
And he added: “It is important that we have players who are here at QPR and invested in our future.
“So, with any of the players that we would bring here on loan, is there an option that they could stay here longer term?
“QPR is not going to be a holding ground for players from other teams to develop. But we will use the loan market if and when needed.”
