Kante and Jorginho among dozen players who could leave Chelsea

N’Golo Kante and Jorginho are among a dozen players who could leave Chelsea this summer, according to The Telegraph.

The newspaper say owner Roman Abramovich will back Thomas Tuchel in the transfer market, with the signing of Sevilla defender Jules Kounde a priority.

The Telegraph say there could also be plenty of departures as Blues boss Tuchel revamps the squad.

Kounde has been strongly linked amid ongoing speculation over the futures of Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta.

All three defenders are approaching the end of their respective contracts and are yet to agree new deals. There have been reports that club captain Azpilicueta has agreed terms with Barcelona.

The Telegraph say offers would be considered for Kepa Arrizabalaga, Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek and that there are doubts over the futures Christian Pulisic, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.

In addition, the report states that the futures of Kante, Jorginho and Marcos Alonso will be assessed, with the contracts of both players due to expire in 2023.

Alonso been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge during successive transfer windows, while Jorginho has frequently been linked with a return to Italy.

Kante has been troubled by injuries in recent seasons but remains a hugely influential figure and many Chelsea fans would be disappointed to see him go.
