Armando Broja wants to stay at Chelsea despite reported interest from West Ham, according to the Daily Express.
Hammers boss David Moyes has long been linked with a move for the 21-year-old forward, who has attracted interest from several clubs.
Speculation about Broja’s future has increased since he was left out of Chelsea’s squad for their pre-season trip to the USA.
But the Express say he is keen to stay at Stamford Bridge and fight for a place in new boss Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Speaking at his post-match press conference after Chelsea beat Wrexham 5-0 in a friendly in North Carolina, Pochettino said decisions on the futures of various Blues youngsters would be taken after the squad returns to London.
“There are players we need to assess and see what happens with them,” Pochettino said.
“There are many decisions we need to take, but it’s good to have the opportunity to see all these guys.
“I think it’s important for them and us to have a real assessment. All have quality – they need time to show that they can compete for a place at this club.
“I am happy with all of them. It’s always difficult in the first game. We’ll see what goes on and when we’re back in England we will decide the future of these young players.”
