Time for Hazard to leave Chelsea, says Jenas

Jermaine Jenas believes Eden Hazard will leave Chelsea this summer and has “done all he can do” at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid and has made no secret of his desire to play for the Spanish club.

He has a year remaining on his Blues contract and Chelsea face a decision on whether to sell him if he will not sign a new deal.

And pundit Jenas is convinced the Belgian superstar is on his way out of the Premier League after seven years in England.

“I think he’ll go,” former Tottenham and QPR midfielder Jenas said on the BBC’s Football Focus programme.

“I would say he’s in our top five players that have graced the league. He’s been a pleasure to watch.

“From Chelsea’s point of view, he’s going to be a massive miss for them. But I can’t see him staying. He’s done all he can do at Chelsea.”

Reports in Spain suggest Hazard has already agreed personal terms with Real and that the move is close.

Chelsea are reportedly demanding at least £100m for their talisman, who has scored 85 goals in 244 Premier League appearances for the club.
