Antonio Conte again faced questions about his future at what is expected to be his last pre-match press conference as Chelsea boss.
Conte was asked ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup final against Manchester United if it was likely to be his final game at the helm.
There was laughter in the room after the Italian responded: “I can tell you for sure this will be my last match…in this season.”
Chelsea have been widely tipped to replace Conte, who has a year remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge.
It has been a disappointing season for last year’s champions, but they could still end the campaign with a trophy.
Conte said: “For me and my players this will be the last game for us (this season) and then, as you know very well, I have a contract and am committed to this club.
“For sure we must be focused on tomorrow’s game. For us this game is very important because we are in a difficult season to finish the season with a trophy.
“It’s very important for the club to finish with a trophy. I think now we are focused on this target. We have to do everything to win this game tomorrow.”
