Chelsea outcast lined up for move to Spain – and could be joined by Pedro

Captaun again

Tiemoue Bakayoko could be plying his trade in Spain next season, according to reports in his native France.

The midfielder clearly has no future at Chelsea, where he has failed to impress since a big-money move from Monaco.

He is currently back at Monaco on loan and his long-term future will be assessed in the coming months.

Sevilla were previously reported to be interested in Bakayoko, who has started just 24 Premier League matches for Chelsea.

And France Football suggest the La Liga club are ready to make a move for him this summer.

If Bakayoko does move to Spain, he could be joined there by Pedro.

Goal.com say Pedro is wanted by Real Betis as well as Italian side Roma.

A return to his native Spain might well appeal to Pedro, whose Chelsea contract is due to expire at the end of the season.

He has discussed a new deal at Stamford Bridge but his first-team chances would remain limited were he to stay at Chelsea and he therefore looks certain to move on.

Pedro has made 135 league appearances for Chelsea since arriving from Barcelona in 2015, but he has featured just 18 times in all competitions this season.
