Baba Rahman still has not given up hope of establishing himself as a Chelsea player.
The Ghana left-back, 24, is in his third loan spell at German club Schalke and he will be there until the end of the season.
He recently returned to action after recovering from a long-term knee injury he suffered while playing for Schalke last season.
He has started just 11 Premier League games for Chelsea since being signed by the Blues from Augsburg in 2015 in a deal worth almost £22m.
But he still believes there is a chance he could return to Chelsea and force his way into the side.
“You can never say where football will guide you to. Maybe I stay for the next 10 years at Schalke but I can also imagine playing for Chelsea again,” the Evening Standard quoted him as saying.
“As one of the best clubs in the world, Chelsea gives many players the chance to make their dreams come true and become better footballers.
“The club gives talented players a chance to prove themselves. At Schalke, I am now regularly in front of 60,000 spectators on the pitch, which makes me incredibly good in my development.”
