Liverpool v Arsenal teams: Arteta makes five changes, Reds stars return

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta makes fives changes to the side beaten at Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup third round on Sunday.

Aaron Ramsdale replaces Bernd Leno in goal for tonight’s Carabao Cup semi-final clash, while Gabriel Magalhaes, Kieran Tierney, Granit Xhaka – who has been passed fit – and Alexandre Lacazette return.



Martin Odegaard is unavailable after testing positive for Covid-19, while, Rob Holding, Nuno Tavarez and Charlie Patino drop to the bench.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and goalkeeper Alisson are back after a Covid-enforced absence, while Joel Matip, Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino and Takumi Minamino are also recalled.
