Impressive Arsenal youngsters destroy Man City

Arsenal’s development side thrashed Manchester City 5-1 in a brilliant display on Monday evening.

Bukayo Saka (pictured) scored twice and there were also goals for Robbie Burton, Joe Willock and Xavier Amaechi in a one-sided match.

Elsewhere in Premier League 2, Chelsea lost 2-0 to leaders Everton and played most of the game with 10 men.

Already facing a tough task against an in-form Everton team, the visitors had Richard Nartey sent off after 15 minutes.

Fraser Hornby fired Everton ahead 11 minutes later but Chelsea battled on, with Billy Gilmour and substitute Martell Taylor-Crossdale going close to equalising.

But Sambou sealed Everton’s win with a penalty with 14 minutes remaining after Hornby had been fouled by Marc Guehi.
