Arsenal are through to the knockout stage of the Champions League after coming back from two down to beat Ludogorets Razgrad 3-2.
But many Gunners fans on Twitter were unimpressed with the performance of Carl Jenkinson in Bulgaria.
While some supporters argued that Jenkinson should not be judged too harshly following his return from injury, others were less forgiving and are hoping Hector Bellerin is back for this weekend’s north London derby against Tottenham.
Kieran Gibbs also attracted some criticism for his performance at left-back.
NLD will be extra nervy if Jenkinson has to play ?

I’m analysing the Arsenal game. I haven’t seen Arsenal players switch off as often as Jenkinson & Gibbs do, since Santos. They must go.

Jenkinson 5 years ago is still the same today, no improvement. He reminds me of vela, no amount of loans can make them improve. #afc

How bad was Jenkinson at right back? I know he’s just back from injury but was all over the place. No positional discipline

The defence with Jenkinson and Gibbs still worries me though. Need Bellerin back for Sunday, even Monreal in poor form is better than Gibbs

Jenkinson, you need to get your act together. Always playing negative and panicky in defense.

After 2 years, Jenkinson is still Jenkinson. Same old mistakes and poor decision in his locker. Arsenal clearly not his level.

Thank God for the win.
Gibbs and Jenkinson shouldn’t smell first team again.
I love Coquelin again.
Ospina ?.
Giroud ?, but slows us down.— ? (@0luwakayode) November 1, 2016
This was one of our poorest displays this season tho. Jenkinson isn’t Arsenal material. Nope
