England v Belgium player ratings: How the London contingent fared at Wembley

How we rated the player's in England's draw Belgium at Wembley.

Ivan Toney scored on his full England debut as Gareth Southgate’s side drew 2-2 with Belgium in a friendly at Wembley. Here’s how we rated the London contingent.

England

Ben Chilwell: 6
Gave the ball away cheaply early on, but the Chelsea left-back then settled although he seemed to lack some sharpness following his recent injury lay-off.

Declan Rice: 7
Captaining the side on his 50th cap, it was a typical Rice performance. The Arsenal man was calm and composed in midfield, used the ball well and was always quick to sniff out danger.

Jarrod Bowen: 7
The West Ham star was lively from the first minute, when he created a chance for Toney. Bowen thought he had put England 2-1 up with a first-half header but the goal was disallowed for offside. Had a close-range attempt saved in the second half.

Ivan Toney: 7
Can be well pleased with his full international debut. He won and scored a penalty and his all-round performance was impressive – and surely sealed a place in the squad for the Euros.

James Maddison: 7

The Tottenham man was initially unable to make much of an impact after coming on as a 74th-minute substitute. Picked up a yellow card and was then fortunate not to get another following a stoppage-time foul. But he was then involved in the build-up to Jude Bellingham’s equaliser in the final seconds.

Belgium

Timothy Castagne: 7
The Fulham right-back didn’t put a foot wrong in an assured performance.

Leandro Trossard: 7
The Arsenal midfielder worked tirelessly on the flank to frustrate England’s attempts to play the ball out from the back.
