Unai Emery praised Arsenal fans after the 5-1 victory at Fulham.
Emery’s side were superb at Craven Cottage, where they stormed to a ninth consecutive win.
The Gunners fans showed their appreciation with chants of “We’ve got our Arsenal back” – a sign of the impact Emery has made since replacing Arsene Wenger as manager during the summer.
Emery was asked what he made of the chant during his post-match press conference.
He replied: “I think we need to feel together, with the supporters and inside the club with the players.
“This spirit and mentality is very important for us – to show our quality and strong work and then together we can be happy like today.
“We need their support and I think the players on the pitch feel their support every time.”
As impressive as Arsenal have been under the Spaniard, Emery is convinced they can get even better.
“We worked hard in the second half to impose this result and this position and moment on the pitch,” he said.
“We are happy but also calm because we know each moment, each match, is difficult. We will continue with this victory.”
