Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta savoured the stunning 3-0 win over Real Madrid but insisted there is still work to do at the Bernabéu Stadium in the second leg of the quarter final.
Declan Rice scored with two brilliant free-kicks on a night to remember for the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium.
“You need magic moments in these games and you need the big players to step in and create those moments,” Arteta declared.
Arsenal will now be strong favourites to go through the semi-finals.
But Arteta warned that the job is not done.
“We have to make it happen now, we had to use the home advantage in the first leg and really create something unique here and really go for it,” he said.
“We have to pick it up because we have a big, big game on Saturday. We’re still playing for the Premier League and we really want it and we have to show that we’re capable of turning it around.”
