Chelsea and Arsenal are among clubs keen on Lyon’s highly-rated midfielder Houssem Aouar, according to the Daily Mail.
The Mail say Barcelona and Liverpool are also monitoring the France Under-21 international, who has been hugely impressive this season.
Aouar reportedly rejected Liverpool before signing his first professional contract with Lyon, who have said he is not for sale.
Meanwhile, The Sun say Chelsea are locked in contract talks with Callum Hudson-Odoi and that the youngster’s future could be in doubt because of the Blues’ interest in Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic.
The Sun also say Arsenal want to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl in January.
Crystal Palace and West Ham have both been linked with Bayern Munich striker Sandro Wagner.
German newspaper Bild say both London sides are keen on the 30-year-old but face competition from several clubs.
Other Bundesliga clubs as well as Turkish outfit Galatasaray are said to be keen on the Germany international.
And QPR director of football Les Ferdinand is out of the running to take over as FA technical director, the Daily Mail reports.
Ferdinand has revealed he spoke to the FA about the job but wants to stay at Loftus Road.
