Arsenal are being priced out of signing English players and will have to look overseas in the next two transfer windows, the Daily Mail say.
The newspaper reports that the Gunners’ new-look transfer committee, led by head of recruitment Sven Mislintat, have been surprised by the cost of UK-based players and are now focusing their attention overseas.
Arsenal have apparently been offered potential deals to sign two homegrown players but baulked at the wages involved.
Meanwhile, The Sun have picked up on reports Arsenal have bid £8m for Ajax and Argentina star Nicolas Tagliafico in an attempt to sign him in January.
