Unai Emery is standing by his tactics after another disappointing result for Arsenal.
The Gunners boss is coming under increasing pressure and his team dropped more points on Saturday, drawing 1-1 at home to Wolves.
Many fans are unhappy with Emery’s decision-making but he insisted his tactics were not the reason for another slip-up.
“We worked in a different tactical situation very well,” he said at his post-match press conference.
“We didn’t concede big chances. We started winning 1-0, created some chances to score the second.
“We were winning but we knew that in one moment they could score and they did that.
“But we were a lot of times controlling the match like (the way) we prepared.
“Then when they scored, we changed again and we started to push – we started to get in their box.
“We didn’t create many big chances but I think we were close to scoring the second goal but we didn’t do that.
“Tactically? The result is a bad result but tactically I think we worked like we wanted. The players tried.”
The result left stuttering Arsenal fifth in the Premier League table.
Their next league game is against fourth-placed Leicester City next Saturday.
